How to Measure Your Body for a Race Suit
For optimal results, have a teammate or trainer assist using a flexible tailor's tape measure while standing naturally in thin undergarments.
Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits, keeping the tape comfortably snug.
Measure around your natural waistline, just above the hip bones at the narrowest point of your torso.
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest circumference of the hips and glutes.
Measure from the highest point of the crotch seam straight down to the ankle bone with straight legs.
With arm slightly bent in driving position, measure from the shoulder point over the elbow to the wrist bone.
Measure from the base of the front neck hollow down to the crotch intersection. Crucial for seating comfort in racing bucket seats.
