Choosing the Best Custom Racewear Manufacturer in Pakistan
Most of Pakistan’s racewear is made in Sialkot. Six checks separate a manufacturer you can trust with a fire suit from one you cannot.

Why Sialkot
If you are looking for a custom racewear manufacturer in Pakistan, you are looking in Sialkot. The city has supplied the world’s sportswear and technical apparel industry for decades, and many of the race suits, kart suits and gloves sold under European and American brand names are cut and sewn there.
That concentration is the reason to buy from Pakistan, and also the reason to be careful. Sialkot has workshops that build properly rated fire suits and workshops that sew a race-suit shape out of whatever fabric is cheapest that week. From a product photograph the two can look identical. The checks below are how you tell them apart.
1. The standard is named per garment
A race suit is safety equipment, and the only thing that makes it one is the standard it is built and tested to. A trustworthy manufacturer names that standard for each garment individually: SFI 3.2a/1 for a single-layer suit, SFI 3.2a/5 for a multi-layer suit, SFI 3.3 for Nomex underwear, CIK-FIA Level 2 for a kart suit.
Be wary of a blanket claim across a whole catalogue, such as “all our suits are FIA approved”. A scrutineer checks the label on your suit, not the website’s banner. Ask which standard the exact suit you are buying meets, and whether it carries the label or tag that proves it.
2. A homologation tag you can check
Homologation is proved by the tag or label sewn into the suit, and that is what a scrutineer checks. Plenty of kart suits are sold as “built to CIK-FIA Level 2 spec” without the tag. That can be fine for practice, but it will fail scrutineering at any event that requires homologated kit. A reliable manufacturer tells you plainly whether the tag is there.
Ours are. Our kart suits, ready-made and custom, are homologated to CIK-FIA Level 2, and every one carries its physical homologation tag. Our SFI 3.3 Nomex base layers carry a sewn-in SFI tag. Ask any manufacturer to show you the tag on the exact garment you are buying before you pay.
3. A proof before anything is cut
A custom suit is a design job before it is a sewing job. A good manufacturer sends you a digital mockup of your livery, front and back, and does not cut fabric until you have approved it in writing. Revisions should be included rather than charged per round.
At FITMANPRO Racewear the mockup usually arrives within a few working days of your brief, revisions are unlimited, and production starts only after your written approval. Sublimated liveries carry no surcharge for extra colours, so an eight-colour design costs what a two-colour one does.
4. No minimum order
Many Sialkot factories are set up for brand contracts and will quote a minimum of 20, 50 or 100 pieces. That suits a team, but it shuts out the single driver who wants one suit in their own colours.
Ask before you send artwork. FITMANPRO Racewear has no minimum order and no setup fee: we make one custom suit for one driver as readily as a full team set. For larger orders, the bulk orders page covers matching driver and crew kit in one livery.
5. Cut to your measurements
A race suit that fits badly is uncomfortable and, in a fire, less protective, because the insulating air gap between the layers depends on fit. Stock sizes from a factory catalogue are a compromise.
Look for a maker that cuts to your own measurements and grades its patterns properly for young drivers rather than shrinking an adult shape. We cut suits to a measurement form at no surcharge, and our sizes run from 7XS upwards for cadet and junior drivers. Measure over the base layers you actually race in.
6. Clear pricing, shipping and duties
Buying from Pakistan should not mean guessing what arrives at your door. A manufacturer worth using publishes its prices, ships with a tracked express carrier and is straightforward about import duty.

Questions to send any manufacturer
Copy these into your first message. A manufacturer that answers all of them plainly and in writing is one you can work with. One that answers vaguely, or not at all, has told you what you need to know.
- Which standard does this exact garment meet, and does it carry the label or tag?
- Will I see a digital proof before anything is cut, and are revisions included?
- Is there a minimum order quantity or a setup fee?
- Do you cut to my measurements, and is there a charge for it?
- Where is it made: in your own workshop or subcontracted?
- What is the total price delivered, which carrier, and who pays duty?
Where FITMANPRO Racewear fits
FITMANPRO Racewear designs, cuts and sews race suits, kart suits, Nomex base layers, teamwear and mechanic wear in its own workshop on Khadim Ali Road, Sialkot, with a sales office in Sharjah. Nothing is subcontracted, so the people who draw your livery are in the building where it is cut.
We would rather you apply the checks above to us than take our word for it. Every product page states the standard that garment is built to. If anything about a rating is unclear, ask us before you order and we will answer in writing.
Frequently asked questions
- Where are custom race suits made in Pakistan?
- Almost entirely in Sialkot, in Punjab. The city is a long-established centre for sportswear and technical apparel, and many race suits sold under European and American brand names are made there.
- Is racewear made in Pakistan safe?
- Safety depends on the standard a garment is built and tested to, not the country it is sewn in. Check that the exact suit names its SFI or FIA standard and carries the label or tag your championship requires.
- Can I order a single custom race suit from a Pakistani manufacturer?
- Many Sialkot factories require minimum orders, but not all. FITMANPRO Racewear has no minimum order and no setup fee, and makes a single custom suit for one driver.
- How much does a custom race suit from Pakistan cost?
- At FITMANPRO Racewear, race suits run from $449 for an SFI 3.2a/1 single-layer suit to $1,299 for SFI 3.2a/20. Custom kart suits start at $325. Shipping is free on orders over $1,000.
- How long does delivery from Pakistan take?
- Production starts once you approve the digital mockup. After despatch, tracked express transit with DHL, FedEx or UPS typically takes 5–10 business days.
- Who pays import duty on racewear shipped from Pakistan?
- The recipient. Duties and import taxes are set by your own country and are not included in the price. Your national customs authority can tell you the rate.
