Bespoke Order Policy

Custom work involves your artwork, our production and a fair amount of back and forth. This page sets out how that process runs and what each side is responsible for.

Draft wording — not yet legally reviewed. This policy is a starting point written to reflect how Fitman Racewear actually operates. Have a solicitor review it against the consumer law of the markets you sell into before you rely on it. Clear needsLegalReview in src/data/infoPages.ts to remove this notice.

The process

  • You send your brief — colours, logos, driver names, numbers and any reference images
  • Our design team produces a digital mockup, usually within a few working days
  • You review it and request changes, as many times as you need
  • You approve the final mockup in writing
  • Production begins, and the design is locked at this point
  • Your order is quality checked, then despatched by tracked express courier

What is included at no extra cost

  • Any colour from 1,000+ Pantone® references, or your exact team colour codes
  • Driver name, race number, national flag and blood group
  • Sponsor logo placement anywhere on the garment
  • Unlimited mockup revisions before approval
  • Made-to-measure sizing on suits

Artwork and intellectual property

By sending us artwork you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. We cannot verify who owns a sponsor logo, so that responsibility sits with you — if a third party challenges the use of a logo you supplied, that is a matter between you and them.

We will not reproduce another manufacturer’s branding, trade dress or homologation marks on a Fitman Racewear garment, and we will not produce counterfeit kit of any kind. If a brief asks for that, we will tell you and we will decline it.

We retain the right to photograph finished work for our own portfolio and social channels unless you ask us not to. Tell us before production if your livery is under embargo and we will keep it off our channels.

Changes after approval

Once you approve a mockup, the design is locked and fabric is cut to it. Changes after that point mean starting the garment again and will be charged as a new order.

If you spot a mistake immediately after approving, contact us straight away — if we have not cut anything yet, we will fix it at no charge.

Returns on bespoke work

Because bespoke garments are produced specifically for you, they cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or differ from the mockup you approved. See our returns page for the full detail.
